About Us
Our founder, Dr. Ashlyn Reece-Gibson, started Saving Them All Rescue (STAR) in 2023. Ashlyn and her mother, Sherry, have been lifelong cat lovers, often taking in cats that have special needs or medical problems that make them less appealing to other people. Ashlyn's husband, Grant, quickly caught on to the rescue life after meeting Ashlyn and is now our honorable "cat man." Often helping with anything needed for the rescue- from scooping litter boxes, to transporting cats wherever they need to go, Grant does it all. After many years of rescuing and rehoming cats, Ashlyn decided to make STAR an official 501c3 rescue once she graduated vet school in 2022. Our goal is to help special needs cats and medical cases as often as possible. We frequently work with local shelters to take in medical cases that they can not care for and would otherwise be euthanized.
